About the Fun Hog Crew

Fun Hog Dot Me is a small group of tech enthusiasts who came together via FPV (first person view) drones.  And for a few years that was all we did.

After 10,000 flights*, FPV is strong, but also plateaued. Our main focus is a sub-250 gram recreational FPV flight.  You know, the ones you don't have to register or place. tracking beacon on.
We don't know what is going to happen. As fathers, husbands, and digital outlaws this is our parts store. We need parts, buy in bulk, sell extras here. Profit from sales and activities fund various predilections towards:
  • Motorized toys
  • Guns (and ammo)
  • Alcohol
  • Tools and heavy machinery
  • Streaming, audio, and video equipment
  • Welding
  • Alcohol, all forms
  • Other **

FPV Practitioners & SME

We consider FPV to be the supreme electronics hobby. One demanding dedication, money, and technical acumen.
  • Electrical engineering at the core tying everything together
  • Aviation and pilot training yield flight principles and integration with national airspace
  • Mechanical engineering in the form of CAD, material comprehension, production, tooling, and analysis
  • Radio and electromagnetic skills is key for communicating data over the air
  • Programming and software development experience are the morphine necessary to integrate everything else.
Our pool of skills extends to machining, production, CAD, prototyping, 3D-Printing, and CNC.
It is also our consideration that "drone is dead", To wit, we are expanding what "Fun Hog" means.
Or actually always meant.
